Online Orders
Where do you ship?
The Graceful Host Shop happily ships to anywhere in the continental US. We strive to ship out orders within 24-48 hours. All orders ship from our party shop in Covington, Louisiana. Please note that we do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or U.S. nationally observed holidays. Tracking information will be e-mailed to you once your parcel has shipped.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free in the US for orders over $75.
What is your return policy?
We are unable to accept returns or exchanges and all purchases are final sale. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding!
However, if there was an error with your order, please accept our sincerest apologies. We would love to have the opportunity to correct our mistake. Please notify us as soon as possible at ashley@gracefulhost.com
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Shop Pay, PayPal, Amazon Pay & Google Pay. We use Shopify's secure checkout.
Balloon Information
Can I come into the store and order balloons?
Absolutely! You are welcome to come into the store to chat through ideas in person.
We recommend that you email Ashley at ashley@gracefulhostshop.com first to make sure that she will be in the shop to chat and share some ideas.
You're welcome to come view balloon colors in person and check out all that we have to offer at any time!
What is a Grab & Go Balloon garland?
Grab & go's are great for clients who don't need balloon installation services and want something smaller than our minimum for delivery and installation. Our grab & go garlands are fully created balloon garlands that can be picked-up from our store front at 218 Lee Lane, Covington, LA. There is no work required on your end - we've done all the blowing up and assembling! All you have to do is hang it up yourself.
We ask that you please give us at least 48 hours' notice for grab & go balloon garland orders.
How do I inquire about balloons?
We are juggling so many clients at one time and it can really difficult to keep up with all the details, especially if they're spread out among different communication forms!
We kindly ask that you help us help you by inquiring through the website and not through instagram or facebook dm or through text message. This is the best way for me and my team to keep track of your order details to ensure there are no errors or miscommunications. We do love to engage with our clients on social media, so please do feel free to ask questions and reach out via DM. But you may find that we will direct you to our inquiry form, if necessary.
When should I expect a reply after submitting a balloon inquiry?
If your inquiry is submitted Friday-Sunday, you can expect to hear back from me between Monday and Thursday.
If your inquiry is submitted Monday-Thursday, you can expect to hear back from me with in 48 hours.
Please note that we are a very small team here, and Ashley handles all proposals and inquiries and scheduling.
Sometimes we do get backed up with inquiries and short on time. Please be patient with us if it is a busy season! We prioritize inquiries based on when they were received, with a focus on earlier events first. So if your event is a few months out, please know that we'll get to you as soon as we can!
How far in advance do I need to book?
If you're interested in working with us, we recommend that you reach out as soon as you have an event date set. We typically book out 1-2 months in advance and take a select number of installations per date/weekend.
However, if you have an event that is a week away, please still reach out because we might have the calendar availability to help. I do my absolute best to accommodate all our clients!
What can I expect working with The Graceful Host?
Our number 1 priority is to make this EASY! We want you to enjoy party planning! It doesn't need to be difficult - it's only difficult because its not something you do everyday! So we want our clients to lean on us for our expertise and guidance.
After we receive your inquiry through the form on our website, we will reach out to confirm the details that you've given us. We may need to ask you additional questions for clarification, too. We will work with you to execute your vision. We are happy to make recommendations on where your balloons should go in the party space, the size balloon garland you need, and even the design & color palette of your balloon installation.
We'll create a formal proposal, when necessary, but also frequently provide our clients with sketches and balloon color palette photos to help us better illustrate ideas and placement of the balloon installs. Once you've approved the party details and estimate via email, you'll receive an invoice to book your date. Once paid, your order is considered confirmed and officially added into our calendar. Just because we've talked about details and ideas, it does not mean that your order is confirmed - only payment confirms your balloon order.
Where do you deliver balloons?
We service the Northshore and greater New Orleans, Louisiana area. Though, travel is welcome!
How long will my balloon installation last?
Balloon installations last anywhere from 1 day to several months, depending on where we are installing your balloons. Balloon garland are created using air, so they will last longer than a helium balloon arrangement.
Balloons are sensitive to weather conditions, like extreme heat or cold. Meaning the weather can impact the lifespan of your balloons. Balloon garlands installed outside will have a shorter lifespan than a installation indoors.
Do you take the garland down after the party?
Once we leave the installation and deliver balloons, we do not return unless we've been hired to take the balloons down. Clean up at the end of the event is the responsibility of the client.
What type of balloons do you use?
We use the highest quality latex and rubber balloons available! Our latex balloons are all 100% biodegradable latex. We also use mylar foil balloons.
Can you install balloons outside?
We can and do, however balloons do not hold up well against the Louisiana heat! We don't recommend installing balloons outside during the hottest months of the year, but if you do need balloons to go outside, we recommend they be installed in a shady area, out of direct sunlight.
The sunlight will cause the latex to expand and .. you guessed it.. pop! Lighter colors do best in the heat and direct sun.
Do you offer gender reveal balloons?
Yes we do! We love helping expecting parents celebrate in this way! Our gender reveal balloons are 36" Black latex balloon filled with pink or blue confetti, along with a tassel trail and balloon weight.
You are welcome to have your doctors office email the results to us at ashley@gracefulhost.com, or you can drop off an envelope to our store at 218 Lee Lane, Covington, Louisiana.
Any ultrasounds will be sealed and returned to our client at the time of pick-up.
How much do balloon garlands cost?
Balloon garlands begin at $20/ft.
How do you hang your balloons?
We do everything we can to create as little disruption and use existing hooks or nails. We do commonly use wall friend, 3M brand command hooks. Here is a tutorial on how to remove them, safely from your wall. When removed the correct way, they do not create wall damage.
Do you ship balloons?
We do not. Sorry! Our balloon services are for local clients in Louisiana.

We now offer Party Planning Consultations with Ashley! No matter where you live or where your party will be, Ashley can help guide you with your party planning.
Can I hire you to plan my party?
Absolutely! My first love will always be planning & designing parties. I have 10 years of event design experience, and you can see more of my work over at our sister company, The Graceful Host Events (www.gracefulhost.com).
